Treat infection: Sinus infections can commonly cause a pressure sensation around the orbit and behind the eyes. Actual pain can indication a more serious infection or sinus congestion with pressure, and should be evaluated and treated with antibiotics if indicated. Rarely a sinus infection can spread into the orbit behind the eye which leads to a severe infection.

Decongestant : Most pain in or around an eye is from sinusitis or headache. Pain reliever and decongestant should relieve it. If not, or if it is getting worse, go see your doctor. It could also be due to an eye problem such an inflammation in (called uveitis) or around the eye. You need to see an eye doctor to really rule this out.
