Many things.: There are many treatments. I assume you are using Metronidazole topically and have the papulopustular variety of rosacea and are already doing the basics well. Additional treatments include topical azelaic acid, sulfacetamide/sulfur, Adapalene and tretinoin. If these are not effective, oral antibiotics may be considered. Laser and Isotretinoin are further down the road.

Wide range of meds: In addition to dietary management, there are a wide range of new medical treatments beyond metragel which include agents such as oracea, finacea, oral or topical retinoids and even pdt. There have been some recent anecdotal reports of the off label use of intradermal Botox to benefit rosacea.
