Time is a clue.: The fact that your nose is worse in the evening suggests that there is an environmental allergen you're exposed to during the day, but not necessarily at night. For example, if you were allergic to pollen and you worked outdoors, i'd expect your nose to be worse in the evening, after you've been outside all day, but better in the morning after sleeping indoors all night. Consider allergy testing.
