A member asked:

If you are pregnant and your hcg levels were measured, how accurate is the reading/level? (and there are no other hcg producing issues).

A doctor has provided 1 answer

More than 5 units: Blood levels of HCG greater than 5 units are usually diagnostic of pregnancy. There is wide variation in HCG levels during pregnancy. The tests for HCG levels are quite accurate. See this site for more info. http://americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html.
