Maybe: Usually dehydration shows up as a dry red tongue...This whitness could be a yeast infection of a toxic conditioon. Tongues can trun white when the body is undergoing some sort of cleanse or there is a circulation problem or if your sick. Question is this a coating on top of your tongue?

Many possibilites: A white tongue can be caused by many things including debris, bacteria and dead cells getting lodged between the inflamed papillae, dehydration, dry mouth, fever, smoking, a condition known as leukoplakia, lichen planus and thrush (candidiasis). See your dentist or an oral surgeon for a definitive diagnosis.
