If you're pregnant..: "implantation bleeding" is not a great term, but refers to bleeding in early pregnancy. If you're late with your period take a home pregnancy test, and if it's positive see your OB dr to check that your pregnancy is healthy. If a urine preg. Test is unclear get a blood pregnancy test. If you're not pregnant you should get checked for causes of bleeding such as fibroids, polyps, or hormonal issues.
