Get it checked out: Depending on your circumstances, you can have nodules or a polyp on your vocal cords altering your voice. You may also have abnormal function of your vocal cords like vocal cord paralysis which can be a harbinger of other problems. Your larynx (voice box) needs to be examined to determine the problem and cause.
