Needs followup: An enlarged adrenal gland, or small nodules in the adrenal gland can be seen fairly commonly on ct scans of the abdomen. Most small nodules are benign. You want to get a hormonal evaluation to see if there is overproduction by the adrenal glands. If this is negative, one usually has a followup ct scan in 3-6 months to see if there has been any change.
