It can: There was a study looking at the effects of KY jelly (and other lubricants) on sperm about 20 years ago that showed it can kill sperm and decrease sperm motility. Therefore theoretically it can decrease your fertility. However i would never use KY jelly as a birth control method as it does not kill all the sperm!
