New plan needed: Using a sling all day essentially returns baby to the movements and closeness of the womb.Separation at night is a dramatic change. The reaction is expected. Begin gradually placing baby in the crib for longer periods between feedings so baby accepts it as a safe place. The sling is fine for temporary transport but i would retire it as an all day placement.
