Depends: The treatment for this is totally dependent on the cause. There are a number of common causes that can be easily treated such as irregular ovulation. One of the most common treatments is using a birth control pill, but it is best to get checked for the underlying cause.

? Hormone imbalance?: There are many causes of irregular menses, and only some involve normal abnormalities. Others are anatomic, psychologic, stress related, etc. If you're having problems or concerns, ask your gyn.
