A member asked:

I have irregular menstruations (after every 3 months or so), can i plan a pregnancy if i am taking birth control pills to regulate my menses?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends.: If you are having menses every 3 months because you are on birth control - then once you stop the bc, if your menses are monthly/regular, then you can plan & try to conceive. If your menses are irregular when not taking birth control (esp if you are having them every 3 mos w/o bc) then it will be very hard to know if/when you are ovulating and harder to try to conceive.Probaly not ovulating if so.
