Soft lump: Soft lump is likely a benign tumor like a fat tissue tumor ( lipoma), could be a cyst, or lymph gland enlargement etc. However, it will be difficult to say anything more than guessing and assuming without being able to examine the lump itself. I'd recommend you to see your doctor and get it checked out. Also important for you to pay attention if the lump is growing and how rapid the growth is.
