How many blebs or bullae can a person have w/out underlying lung disease. i am 29, female with total 9 or 10 between both lungs, and one pneumothorax?

No normal number : There is no "normal" number of blebs. Unless you are currently smoking, which you really shouldn't do, those blebs were likely with you since you were born. And, yes, sometimes they can rupture and cause a pneumothorax. But, i wouldn't worry too much about them. Just live your life. If the collapse happens again, then you can do surgery to seal the lung. But, don't obsess. Live life (smoke free).

None: There is congenital or emphysema changes. Stop smoking did you have a chest tube or other intervention for the pneumo? May be sealed pleura and unlikely recurrence. You are at risk for ipsilateral or contra lateral recurrence most likely.
