It's possible: You can get pregnant from sex 4 days before ovulation, though not common. Politley, if 43 years is your correct age, the odds are very very low.

Not impossible: Intrauterine sperm can live 3-5 days. Bcp can take 1-3 months for steady state (= protection). It is not impossible, try hpt. Could be other causes, if recurs, ask your gyn.
