Potentially: Problems involving the sacroiliac joint are a pretty common cause of back pain and are sometimes unrecognized. Possibly: If you have chronic pain in that area. X rays and MRI could be very helpful, especially the mri. See an orthopedist or your pcp for evaluation and studies.
