A member asked:

I have several vitamin deficienices and always have nonformed stools that have a very bad odor.what is wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Malabsorption: If the vitamin deficiencies have been made by a reputable lab / practitioner (there are charlatans) and you have unformed malodorous stools, then you have malabsorption until proved otherwise. You need to be worked up for celiac disease, whipple's, and a few others. Please get with a gastroenterologist.
