Short luteal phase: With a +opk ovulation happens in 24 hrs and your temperature rises. A triphasic chart has 3 levels of temperatures:pre-ovulation (97.0 to 97.5), post-ovulation or luteal (97.6 to 98.6), and then a 2nd rise around 7-10 days after ovulation (3/10's - 4/10's over the luteal high). Some women with these charts turn out to be pregnant. But many do not.

Normal body temp: It hard to say what anyone's normal temperature is because the range of temperature among well people can range from 96+ to 99+. The best way to tell what's normal for you is to check it daily for a week, first thing when you get up in the morning, and take the average. Once you know your baseline, you can readily identify a 1/2 to 1 degree increase that occurs with ovulation.
