Pregnancy: It really all depends on a lot of factors like the age of the pregnancy, location of the pregnancy and the number of fetuses in the current pregnancy. In a normal singleton pregnancy it may be detected visually by ultrasound as early as 5-6 weeks. I would recommend a blood test (bhcg) that is correlated with a transvaginal ultrasound. Talk to your doctor about this.
