Yes: Small thin people can certainly get pregnant and give birth, but you will need to be followed and monitored regularly by your ob/gyn dr. Proper nutrition and good health is important for a baby growing inside you to be healthy as well. I would see your dr. For an exam and evaluation of your weight now, and see if you need to gain some weight, which would certainly make preganancy easier.

Depends on method: You may have issues with delivery that require a c section.Little women can have a narrow birth canal that baby doesn't travel down easily. Once the water breaks, you have a specified time to deliver before baby & mom can become infected by germs so surgical delivery may be needed if labor is not progressing.
