Are hives always a sign of impending anaphlaxis? i may or may not be reacting to something but my chronic hives have always been mild. should i worry?

No worry: Chronic hives are not a sign of impending anaphylaxis, they come and go as they please and most are idiopathic, meaning unknown cause. If an antihistamine controls them, i would leave it at that.
