It depends: There is no specific drug that works for hemorrhoids in general. However there are drugs we recommend for specific complications.For 1)acute ext hem thrombosis- evacuation of the clot, others:warm baths, stool softeners, nsaid"s, witch hazel , Hydrocortisone 1%. Sometimes anal suppositories are helpful for internal hem bleeding. And prolapse.
