When you have the mirena (levonorgestrel) removed after having it for almost almost 2 yrs. how soon do you start ur period again ? and how quickly can you get pregnant ?

Right away: If your periods were regular in the past, you should resume having normal periods within a month or so. You can get pregnant right away after Mirena (levonorgestrel) is removed - potentially even before having another period. Good luck.

Right Away: No periods when the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud was in place? Once removed, periods can resume within a 4 week cycle. Likewise, there is no lingering hormonal effect on fertility once iud taken out. 8/10 women who have Mirena (levonorgestrel) removed are pregnant within a year. Yet, if you had abnormal cycle before you had an iud, you may have them post iud again. Irregular periods or trouble getting pregnant--seek evaluation.
