High creatinine: See a nephrologist to have a 24 hour urine collection, for creatinine clearance and uric acid collection. This give an indication of your renal function, the amount of protein in it and how much your body makes and excretes of uric acid (ua). If you make too much ua, you need to be on allopurinol. If your excrete too little ua, Colcrys is needed . If urine ua is normal, uloric is needed.
