TB treatment : we usually use Ethambutol as part of this regimen in case the TB is resistant to either Rifampin or isoniazid. If your doctor already knows which drugs the big is susceptible to, or if resistance rates are very low in your area, leave out the Ethambutol may be the correct treatment. You should discuss this issue with the prescribing doctor.
