Potential M.S. Drug: Bg-12 is in the pipeline as a potential new treatment for multiple sclerosis and has had promising results in clinical trials. It is an oral form--meaning taken by mouth. Whether it may make it through approval or have dangerous side effects is always an unknown at this stage but the studies in the new england journal of medicine showed bg-12 reducing relapse rates by 50% with a good safety profile.
