Let me explain: In studies, when compared to conventional hormone replacement therapy, pellets have been shown to be extremely effective for relief of menopausal symptoms, increasing bone density, restoration of sleep patterns, and improvement in sex drive, libido, sexual response and performance. Pellet implants have been used to treat migraine and menstrual headaches.

Balance is Key: If the surgical procedure included the removal of both ovaries, then one will experiece a sudden decrease of progesterone, testosterone and estrogen. Compounded pellet implants for women come in the forms of Estradiol and testosterone. Progesterone is rx as a topical, inj or oral. The advantage of the pellet implant tx is the steady-state delivery over 3-6 months.

can be beneficial: I am a big proponent of pellet therapy for hormone replacement. There are excellent pellet therapies not labeled "biote". Biote is a "brand" of training protocol ; marketing in which some doctors choose to participate and pay fees to be a part of, much like the sottopelle method. Your main focus should not be on a "brand" but on the experience of the dr. Implanting ; the quality of pellets.
