Scientific Rx: You might start with benzoyl peroxide, and if this doesn't clear you in two weeks (it probably won't) ask your physician about adding topical Clindamycin or something similar, and maybe a retinoic acid derivative if there are blackheads. If it's just your face this may be enough; otherwise a systemic antibiotic may be a next step. All acne can be managed.
