Absoutely not: Years ago doctors though women needed to get a period each month. That is no longer true. In fact many types of birth control pills now give you a period every 3 months. But it is important to protect the uterus from overgrowing and developing uterus cancer. So either you need to get a semi-regular period or you need to be on something to protect your uterus.
