How long does it take the nerves to grow back after a lumbar RFA?

Healing time 4 nerve: An RFA is a radio-frequency ablation, meaning the nerves may not grow back after such a procedure. Keep in mind that a nerve may "heal" about 1 cm (0.4 inches) per month. Sometimes we give healing about 6-18 months to occur before we determine a nerve may not heal afterwards.

If it has only been a few months, keep working on your strength. Hopefully there are no problems with pain.
