Maybe/not: The cited average wait for a desired pregnancy is 6 mo with a range from weeks to a year. After a year off BC you body would have returned to your baseline fertility level. You could have normal baseline fertility or not, unaffected by the prior BC. If you try for a year without success an evaluation of both partners by a fertility doc would be reasonable.

Agree with Dr. F: It is important that you develop a relationship with an obstetrician for advice that is important for improving your chances of getting pregnant and having a healthy baby. You should take pre-natal vitamins. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!
