You can reduce it...: But it doesn't really go away. Baby's and children's skin is usually more sensitive, and as adults they may show less syptoms, but eczema doesn't really go away completely. Use a gentle soap and a daily moisturizer. Try to identify triggers and avoid them. This will reduce flare ups, but unless there is one specific trigger, which is rare, it's hard to keep it away for good.

See below.: Eczema is in the same family of conditions as allergies and asthma. It can't be cured but usually can be controlled. It is best managed by using a sensitive skin cleanser, avoiding bathing in very hot water, and using a sensitive skin lotion at least 3 times daily, even when the rash isn't there. If doing this doesn't help enough, please see his doctor.
