That's the point: When you come off of them fertility will return.

Not likely: While you are on birth control pills they prevent pregnancy but once you stop them you are back to your usual chance of pregnancy. They don't cause infertility though they could hide hormonal problems that are already there, that will then be noticeable once the pill is stopped.
