Pregnant any time: Besides abstinence, no other birth control method is 100%. The chance is small, but you can get pregnant while on the pills, iud, Depo-Provera injections etc. In general, the longer you have been on the injection, the longer time it takes to normalize your system and increase chances of pregnancy. So, if are now trying to get pregnant, have fun and good luck. It may happen tonight! :-)).

Within a month: You can get pregnant the month after you stop birth control pills. Sometimes the effects continue for 2-3 months. Other methods of contraception take longer to where off, like depoprovera.
