Can syphillis and toxoplasmosis be spread thru blood transfusion and breastmilk?

No: Theoretically, it is possible to get syphilis from blood transfusion if the donor happen to donate at the time he is circulating the bacteria in his blood. In reality, there is no documented infection of syphilis from blood transfusion. There is no documented passage of infection from mother to infant from breastmilk. Toxoplasmosis is an infection that we pick up from pets, esp. Cats.

Let me explain: Syphillis and toxoplasmosis be spread thru blood transfusion. .Among healthy women, the possibility of breast milk transmission of toxoplasma infection is not likely. Syphilis – no evidence of transmission in breast milk.
