Hyperkalemia. : Early signs are fairly non-specific and can include nausea, malaise, fatigue, muscle weakness and heart palpitations. But these symptoms can be seen in other disorders too, so they are not unique to hyperkalemia. Unfortunately, if the potassium level becomes too high, life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias may develop. Hope this answers your question.
