Maybe: In order to know how serious the rash may be more information is needed. If there is a fever or any other signs of infection it may be a viral rash, however that decision should be made by your medical provider. Fevers in infants need to be taken seriously and the child examined to look for source of infection. Speak with the provider today to decide further course of action.
