Epudidymitis: Scrotal pain and tenderness above the testis of acute onset (especially following lifting) is often due to inflammation of the epididymis. Epididymitis is most often treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory agents. May also be a varicocele flair-up. See a urologist for diagnosis and treatment if symptoms persist.
