Bartholin's Gland: Normally, these glands maintain labial moisture and sex lubrication. You never know they're there until they get blocked up or infected like this, and then it can be horrible! you may have a visit with your fp or walk-in clinic to confirm and try antibiotics; but, the worst-case scenario would be that a surgical excision may be necessary.
