Stimulants stimulate: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is a long-acting form of amphetamine, a powerful stimulant used in adhd. Individuals without adhd who use vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) will usually experience hyperexcitability, decreased appetite, and insomnia. In adhd a typical response is calming and focus with increased concentration. Unless you have adhd, you may not benefit from this drug.

Chemical effect: Vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) like other amphetamines causes an increase in brain nor peinephrin, also called nor adrenalin. This results in the stimulatory effect and your feeling of excitation. If you feel too excited, speak to your treater about reducing the dose or another medicaiton.
