Take pain meds: If the pain is persistent all the time, you should try taking pain pills to relieve it. It may be muscular pain in which case it will settle down in a few days. Try 2 tablets of tylenol (acetaminophen) to start with, you may repeat it evey 4-6 hourly for one or two days. If the pain is not relieved, you could take Motrin or aleve which are somewhat more potent pain killers but can cause stomach discomfort/indiges.
