brown watery discharge before period normal?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Brian Nguyen
10 years experience Obstetrics and Gynecology
Normal: period related discharge can take on many different appearances depending on the amount of mucus that is being secreted from your cervix around the time of menses. as long as the discharge is not excessive, malodorous, or causing any itching, or pain, it can be normal. Keep watch and consult if getting worse.
