After ivf failure and after stopping progesteron, if my period did not come what does that mean and can beta hcg test be wrong.?

It can be wrong...: Hcg can be wrong (rarely), so i recheck it if a period didn't start 7-10 days from stopping progesterone. More likely, bleeding won't start until the prog. Leaves your system, which can take a week or more, depending on that type of Progesterone you were using and how high your levels were when you stopped. Also, ovarian corpus luteum cysts can make Progesterone and that can prevent a bleed.

Possible, unlikely: If the result of serum bhcg was negative after ivf, then unlikely to be pregnant. Delay in menstrual period may be related to the hormones that you were producing (if fresh ivf cycle) or were taking (such as Progesterone supplementation). Of course, it's not impossible to spontaneously conceive the month after a treatment cycle either. May take urine preg test and if positive, notify md.
