Nursing?: Are you nursing? If so that is the single best thing you can give your baby - the immunity and benefits of breast milk. You can use a cool mist humidifier in baby's room, and the bulb suction from the hospital to clear out buggers. However i strongly suggest you go see your doctor to look the baby over. One month is very young to have any illness, and a doctor should assess the baby first.

?cold?: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages ; exposure to dust, fragrances, smoke ; other irritants.Baby tries to flush these out with mucous but this often ends as congestion ; produces rattling with breathing. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline ; suctioning the remainder. Eliminate irritants from babies environment ; this will happen less.See doc if too tired to feed.
