Why Mention: Your history of mental illness is a private matter and should have no bearing on your admission to any educational institute. You may want to enquire about what services might be available for your mental illness, again no need to disclose your condition. Prejudice towards mental illness does exist and we must learn to cope with it. Unfortunately hiding it is often our only course of action.
