Depends on test: The half life of vicodin in 4-6 hours. So in say 5 hours you will have half the original amount in your blood. 5 hours later you will have 1/4 the amount in your blood. How long it would take to not show up on a test would depend on how sensitive the test is. It probably wouldn't show up after 4 or 5 half lives. Better to tell them.

A little over 24 hr: About 85% of an oral dose is out of you system in 24 hrs i'm not sure about the saliva test but one day should be sufficient.
