Fibromyalgia: Inflammation is not considered part of fibromyalgia. Indicators of an inflammatory process such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, or lyme's disease etc are not part of fibromyalgia. In fact the diagnosis of fibromyalgia as the only diagnosis is a diagnosis of exclusion. Must rule out other disease processes that could cause the symptoms.

Low back problems: Fibromyalgia hurts everywhere in the body and there also irritable bladder, irritable bowels, sleep difficulties, problems of memory and concentration, etc. You must read up on fibromyalgia to see if you fit in there. If you just have lower back pain, this needs to be treated by consulting with your family dr..
