Does aything happen to lens or eyes if we use contact lens ocassionally?

Generally no. : If your contact lenses are fitted well and your eyes tolerate the well. Then generally no major ocular problems develop. I advise that you continue with regular, annual eye exams if you continue wearing contacts. Also it's a good idea to have backup glasses.
