Not a good idea: You're not trying to open the earth like a farmer to let more rain sink in. Roughing the scalp is not going to increase absorption but may open the skin to germs & start a scalp infection.Be patient.If this stuff helps you, it will take weeks before it shows & then is not likely to be as helpful as you want.
