Fissure?: It's possible this is a fissure that we can treat most often with a simple ointment. Hemorrhoids are possible as well, but if your doctor examined the area, then maybe that's precluded. Without an exam, it's difficult to tell you. I would recommend seeing a physician to have this evaluated further. Common things being common, you will be fine, but should still have it checked out.
